Is there be before and after school care?

Yes! Students may arrive as early as 7:30 and stay as late as 6:30 for co-curricular activities. Before and after care is by donation. We encourage those who can to contribute to funding these programs, but welcome students to join enrichment activities regardless of ability to pay.

Before and after school care will involve enrichment activities, including clubs, dedicated time for homework, and physical activity.

How much does it cost? Is there financial aid?

Because we embrace the Quaker tenet of the unique worth of each individual, LFS seeks students from diverse economic, ethnic, and family backgrounds. We offer flexible tuition based on each family's ability to pay. Tuition rates are set at $14,650/year, and aid is available to families in need. We are committed to continuing to meet 100% of stated need for families that qualify.

What does the hiring process look like? Are all of the teachers religiously affiliated?

LFS seeks to welcome a diverse group of employees. Faculty and staff will be trained in and familiar with Quaker practice and expected to honor the Quaker values on which the school is based. We honor, respect, and welcome a diversity of religious beliefs.
