Financial aid application process
Full tuition is established at $14,650 for all grades for the 2022-23 school year. We are committed to meeting the financial needs of our families. LFS is using School & Student Services (SSS) to determine financial aid eligibility. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch and are part of a marginalized community, you do not need to apply through SSS, simply denote this on your application. There is a $55 fee to apply using SSS, which may be waived according to their determinations of financial need.
Assistance is available through SSS by calling (800)344-8328 or emailing email@example.com.
The school code for LFS is 200235. You will have the opportunity to search by location for the school or enter the code.
You can apply for financial aid using SSS by clicking here, or using the button below.
A central part of the mission of LFS is to increase equity. To support this tenet, we have constructed the Equity Scholarship. To apply to this fund, students must meet both of the following criteria:
Meet the federal income requirements for free or reduced lunch
Be part of a socially marginalized group
If you have submitted an application to LFS, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about completing an equity scholarship application.
Priority deadline for application to the Equity Scholarship is February 15th. Applications will be accepted after this date and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with consideration to available funds.
Financial resources for Quaker families
The National Friends Education Fund provides support to Quaker children in Friends Schools. Members of all Yearly or Monthly Meetings qualify if:
At least one parent or legal guardian of the student has been a member of the Religious Society of Friends for at least 1 year prior to the start of the supported school year.
After applying to the Friends School, the school determines that the family meets need-based criteria as adjusted by FEF/PYM standards.
